Hand function and its determinants in patients with lateral epicondylitis

Background: Hand function is an important aspect of most the activities daily living. There are many conditions that cause direct impact on hand but few musculoskeletal conations indirectly influence often ignored in rehabilitation. Objective: The aims this study were to analyse among lateral epicondylitis (LE) patients and identify various parameters (Age, dominance, pain, range motion (ROM), chronicity) may function. Methods: Eighty six LE participated cross sectional study. was assessed using Perdue peg board along with other like age, motion, chronicity. Results: a significant difference between affected unaffected extremity (p<0.001, effect size 0.425). Pain severity, chronicity wrist extension strongly related R value -0.910, -0.788 0.698 respectively. Conclusions: results highlight possible compromise LE. Out all pain ROM condition associated compromise.
